First I wanna say that it's definitely not a power issue.

Hello,
I just got my new motherboard (AX370 Gaming 5) a couple of days ago. I put the system togher and everything worked just fine (at this point i hadn't plugged in the fan LED). This morning I decided to to finally do plug the LED cord in. After about 5 seconds I found the header on the mobo and plugged it in. So far so good... I proceeded to hide the cable so you couldn't see it and closed the case. I powered on the system. The fans are all spinning... but wait a second what's this NONE of the LEDs are working... thats weird... not even the ones on the motherboard itself. A few seconds pass and the PC shuts down. It turns on again and off again, on again and off again... So I pressed the PSU power button and then turned it back on. Started up the system and... Boot-Loop again. Then I pulled out the fan's LED cord and tried again. Now everything works fine again. I get POST, Windows loads up and I can use the PC normally again.

I couldn't find anything on the internet so I really need help... I don't wanna be stuck with a static red glowing CPU fan for the rest of this systems life...

It does work now. I don't know why tbh. I mean there is literally an arrow on both sides so I definitely know that I haven't missed the header... Anyway thanks to your answer I attempted again so thank you. The LED is now green for some reason but I'll probably be able to fix this problem in the SelLED V2 Program that comes with gigabyte mobos (well it's a utility add-on but still)
