PCIe SSD Compatibility

Mark RM

Admirable
board has no no M.2 capability and if you put that drive in a PCIe adapter it's performance will be cut in half because the board is only PCIe 2.0 (not 3.0).

So I'm going with... it could work with an adapter, at reduced speeds.

compatible only with an adapter like this.

Example only not an endorsement
bootable no. not even with the adapter.

The BIOS does not support booting to the PCIe on that or any other am2/am3/am3+ motherboard for that matter unless they natively have an m.2 slot. ( I know of one motherboard AM3+ and m.2 there may be more)

I would suggest a SATA model for your needs.
