I have a PC (MB: ASUS H97I-PLUS, with Haswell i5, with 4 gig of RAM, and Shaphire nitro radeon 480 GPU). I have been using it for 2 years without much problem.

Yesterday i decided to switch the PSU (My old PSU was an old generic one, i wnated to switch with my newly bought Corsair PSU). Since my case is crowded, i had to remove almost all part to install the GPU (Namely HDD, RAM, CPU fan and heatsink).

Sadly, after reassembly, whenever i powered on my PC, it only turned on for about 3 second before it would be off again, (the PSU fan, CPU fan, case fan, would turned on, but then off again after few second).

I have tried to unplug my components one by one, and then i found it that the problem arised only when i pluged the PSU to CPU socket. I have tried my old PSU (That still worked fine untill a few hours ago before i switch it( and the same problem arrised. I have checked the CPU, removed the fan and heatsink and i found no problem.

What might be the cause of the problems? please help. Thankyou

Solution
Try resetting your CMOS.Also check psu calculator to see if your psus power is enough for your components.3rd option is to return your psu if its still on warranty.
