Hdd bad sector

GUYS can you help me fix my bad sector on my hdd, before theres 2 bad blocks then i used chkdsk and i eliminate the 1 bad block now all i am left with is 1 block, how can i eliminate this block 100%? Thanks

Ps; i already tried sea tools for windows but it keeps me bring to sea dos and i dont know how to use sea dos
Pps; my hard drive is second hand but the seller said that it is brand new and in pristine condition because it is one of his spare parts

The fix is to return it to who you go t it from and get a new drive. There is no "fix" for a drive that is getting issues. I only see drives like that get worse over time, never better, till they fully fail.

Do you like your data or do you not care if the drive fails on you? If you have another drive for backups, use this one till it dies and change it out then if you like.

I have a second hand hdd but the seller used it for only couple days or a week and it is brand new, is there no other way to fix and remove bad sector on my hdd? i think this is software realated issue

You can make the SEADOS boot media and boot in it and run the tools from there.

Once a hard drive has bad sectors, it should be replaced. You can wait and see if it develops any more, but rarely have a I seen a hard drive not keep developing bad sectors once it has started.

Hey Jankerson, i just figured that out and i used win32 app and use that to boot my sea tools to my pen drive and when i restart my pc and entered that sea tools bootable, the Sea Tools couldnt recognized my hard drive, i repeated it for 2x and it is the same out come, what should i do? should i find another application that boots sea tools for dos? thanks And also can you give me a link on how can i boot sea tools for dos? TIA
