Hey guys! So right now for my gaming PC I am using my Beats Solo 3 wired which has been connected to an adaptor which splits into input and output. Although it says that it should be allowing my mic to now work it doesn't. Instead, I think it is playing what ever comes outs my headphones. Somebody pls help me fix this!!

Thanks for the Support :)

Control Panel > Sound > Recording tab > make sure it shows a Microphone as default device with a green check mark.
If you speak into the mic, you should see the VU meter on the right move.
Then look at Properties > General tab, it should indicate what jack you should be plugged into.

In the Properties > Listen tab make sure listen to this device is unchecked.
"You can listen to a music player through this jack. If you connect a microphone, you may hear feedback."
That's were I suspect your problem lies.
