Hey Guys,
I could really use help from someone with experience. This is my first pc build and I want to make sure that I don't make a mistake. Some of my questions are:

1) Will the specs work well together?

2) I am looking to overclock my ryzen 1700 and game in 1440p, will these parts work?

3) Which motherboard should I go with (out of the motherboards I listed below)

4) I will be playing games like Rainbow Six Siege, Rust, Garry's Mod and Player Unknown's Battlegrounds. Will there be any bottlenecking?

5) Are there any parts that you can think of that will replace my parts and speed up my pc (gaming wise) without changing the whole build?

Solution
Good part choices overall. Yes, they will work together fine.

Among the boards, you should choose the MSI or ASUS B350. They are both good boards with lots of power phases and VRM for overclocking... https://us.hardware.info/comparisontable/products/396951-400375-386635
The x370 is not giving you anything extra at the added price, unless you plan to SLI in future, which is really not recommended.

Also, change the PSU to CXM instead of the CSM. CSM is a pretty mediocre unit. Or pick a good oner from here... https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/631048-psu-tier-list-updated/

Another Question is are there any better black / red cases that you know of? I have received comments on other forums stating that if I live somewhere hot my pc could overheat.

Question from pc_noob_11 : "Which Motherboard should I get for my system?"

Hey Guys,
I am deciding on which motherboard I should get. I am planning to overclock my ryzen 1700 in the future. Here are my specs. Also is it worth buying a cooler rather then going with the stock cooler that comes with the ryzen 1700 for overclocking and do you have any suggestions for good black and red cases because it is said that cases like mine can heat up the pc if you live somewhere hot.

One last question HellFire what kind of RMx should i look at? For example 650, 750 or 850? and is it worth picking up a cooler like the Hyper Evo 212 for overclocking
