Ok so I’m looking to buy my first gaming pc (Alienware Aurora R7) and I was wondering if the i7 8700 and the GTX 1080 that are in the system are good for gaming at 1080p 60+ FPS. ( I plan on just gaming and not streaming) I saw a review that wasn’t too good so I was wondering and I decided to ask on here. Btw I’m a PC noob as you can probably tell already so I’m sorry if I sound dumb lmao.

gtx 1080 is too much for 1080p, gtx 1060 can even already do good. also the i7-8700 would be more than enough but its up to you if you dont care about the money you will spend. i personally wouldnt if i only playing in 1080p as gtx 1080 are even capable of 4k
