Looking for gaming headset

As from title I'm looking for good and comfortable headset that I'll use for gaming only.

Requirements:

  • Has to have audio jack, as I have an external soundcard
    Has to have good padding
    Possibly below 100€

It'd be also great if it came with a mic

i personally have the kraken 7.1 v2, the slightly more expensive model. felt satisfied with it, but hate the sound out of box, but some customization from the software will fix it. the kraken pro v2 should do pretty similar, with the difference only doesnt have the 7.1 surround. remember that the headset is pretty heavy as it has some metal parts, the cable also braided, which is good but also add some weight to it. the earcups i would consider as pretty good but not the best, it can get pretty hot if you use it in pretty hot room. also because of the relatively heavy weight, some people might not like it as your head can felt kinda heavy wearing it

I use a Asus U7 for the surround so thats not an issue. So if you say sound can be fixed, my main concern would be: are they comfortable on the ears? Can you wear em for a long time without your ears hurting? Also did you get round or oval padding?

they are pretty comfortable, the earcups can fit my whole ear without touching part of my ear. i use the original round padding. but note that for some people the heavy feeling of the headset might not be comfortable, but as the trade you get solid build quality
