I just bought a second gpu (nvidia msi 960 gaming), after trying without success i realised that my motherboard (Msi B85-G43 gaming) does not support SLI. I can't return the card either. Is there some way to make it work somewhat okay? I would appreciate any help.

The only use it could be to you now is to run more monitors then single 960 would allow. But there is no way to combine their power for single screen if your motherboard does not allow SLI.
Or you can just use second 960 for mining :p
