I just bought the Predator XB321HK but i cant get it to 4k 60hz only 1080p 60hz the rest is 30hz or below and i have no idea what to do, i checked online but my computer doesn't have a DP Port only an HDMI and i cant find any ports that go from DP to HDMI only the other way around.

Solution
The HDMI port on the monitor is limited to 30 Hz, you need to connect to the DisplayPort input. There are no HDMI to DisplayPort adapters that will give you 4K 60 Hz. If you don't have a DisplayPort on your computer then it is impossible to get 4K 60 Hz, sorry.

I hope this guy worked out that if you dont have a Graphics card with display port but purchased a top end 4k monitor your chances of reaching 4K at viewable frame rate were scuppered anyway :p

Hdmi 2.0 does 4k at 60hz just fine.
Not all ports on monitors support 60hz though. Try changing the hdmi input.

Also what gpu are you using?

You said you don't have a DP so either it's old or a IGPU.
IGPU will not support 60hz at 4k only 4k at 30hz.
Buy a cheap 1050ti and enjoy 4k at 60hz.

I find that hard to believe that a top of the line g sync gaming uhd monitor is 1.4... I'm unsure if gsync is like my freesync monitor but it is only supported threw the display port.

Need more info on the pc specs...

Glenwing is accurate. The G-sync module doesn't natively support HDMI 2.0, as far as I know.

Very true, I was just thinking how I use one of my 4k monitors with a fire tv to get 4k amazon which must be hdcp 2.2 complaint.
But for gaming you are absolutely correct.

It really just comes down to priorities. There are plenty of non-G-Sync monitors that have HDMI 2.0 and it wouldn't make sense to spend the heavy premium if you're not gaming. So Nvidia simply doesn't have much of an economic incentive to update the module.
