I plan to buy a Z370 to use with an i5 8600k. I would just buy the cheapest z370 (~$110) , but if I can get a much better mobo overall, I am happy to pay a little more (even a little beyond $150 tbh). Use prices ONLY FROM AMAZON. thx
The differences are often other features on the motherboard. Do you need RGB? What about built-in WIFI? Dual BIOS? High end audio? Those are the differentiating features that manufacturers include to differentiate their products. A mini-ATX or micro-ATX motherboard will be cheaper than a full sized.
Overclocking will want a lot of fan connections. Mini or micro motherboards don't have those. Everything is a trade-off.

This board will not limit me in overclock (5ghz)? Also, one thing I saw from this mobo is the onboard audio is a little worse than the others at the same price, but idk if that is gonna make a difference.

Primarily, I just mind the OC capabilities. But if I can get more/better features for little money I'm open to suggestions. (I just have 4 fans, plus the cpu cooler)
I mean, I can get something like the aorus ultra gaming ($169) if is worth it. You recommended the tuf z370 plus (149) , I can just get that if it's good, too. Really just want the best buy, thats "cheap" for what it offers.
