Need second opinion new build

Solution
You can do a bit better for cheaper, also the stock Wraith cooler is good enough to keep it cool and suitable for minor overclocking.

Solution
Looks compatible to me.
Some thoughts:
What will the primary use of this pc be?
1. If it is for batch multithreaded operations, ryzen 1500x is very reasonable.
If your primary use is for gaming, budget 2x the cost of the cpu for the graphics card.
Intel for gaming is likely a better choice.

2. A better/quieter cooler at half the price is the scythe kotetsu.
Here is a review:

3. If you ever want 16gb, it is better to buy your kit up front.
Ram must be matched and ryzen is particularly picky on ram.

Hey thanks. Im using this for less demanding games like WoW and Counterstrike... Im an AMD loyalist to a fault. When I upgrade my RAM, Ill just format and restart, no problem. The fan is listed at 70$ but really costs 35$. Wildcard, thats a great build, and that video card is WAY better, I've just heard MSI horror stories from that particular model, and I like ASUS customer service. Ill upgrade sooner than later, but Id rather save the 100$ for now and play it SAFE. With all that said, youve given me some serious things to contemplate. But as long as this build I have can run WoW, Im happy for now.

Since WoW requires a good CPU you could actually go with the 8400 which has better performance per core over the 1600.

I had to change a few parts to keep it within budget.

Well as long as your careful and they show you the card running in the system with a game it should be fine, that price is really good.
