How to increase fps in gta 5?

I've built my first gaming pc recently. I play gta online with the optimised nvidia settings on 1080p 60 hz monitor. I've noticed that when I'm cruising in a car I usually get 40-45 fps and in some situations it even drops to 30 (flying low with a helicopter). GPU and CPU usage is usually 50 - 60%, GPU sometimes 70% and 6.5 - 7 gb of my 8 gb DDR4 ram is used. Power plan is on high performance. I've only wondered whether it would be possible to get higher fps and not lowering the graphics too much. https://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/mNMfKZ +seasonic s12-520 f. Would getting another stick of 8gb DDR4 ram help perhaps? Thanks in advance.

Turn off the optimized settings through Nvidia. This usually causes your card to render the game at a higher resolution and compress it to fit your 1080p screen. It’s supposed to produce a sharper picture but really doesn’t. Set your graphics setting through the game itself.

Overclocking the CPU/GPU should help a bit. If your using the Nvidia Geforce Experience to optimize the game you may want to setup the settings yourself as I found NGE doesn't always set them for the best performance to graphic quality that you can get.
