So I just bought BF4 after BF1 was sort of a let down for me. Playing the game I noticed it is not as smooth as he videos I watch on youtube, and my frames are from about 80-100fps on ultra, VSYNC is ON.
I have a 60hz monitor that runs 1920x1080, hooked it up with HDMI as I do not have a DVI cable.

System specs:

i5-7600k 3.8ghz
Geforce 1060 6gb
Windows 10
8GB Ram

Any help would be appreciated.

Solution
Vsync is not on if you are using a 60hz monitor and getting 100fps, vsync will cap the framerate to the max refresh rate of your monitor. 80-100fps on a 60hz monitor will cause tearing but it should still feel smooth for the most part.
