GPU sound interference?

After building my new pc, I remembered I’d need a sound card for my my old analog surround sound. So I ordered a Soundblaster Audigy FX. While waiting for it, I plugged in the front speakers 3.5mm in the onboard audio used it like that with no noise. After installing the sound card, I get a light static noise but only in 3D applications. It seems the noise is correlated with how hard my GPU is running. I have a micro ATX board so the GPU and soundblaster are sitting really close to each (millimeters apart) and have only one PCI slot so I can’t try moving the GPU. Also, there is one PCIe lane above and below the GPU. Plugging the sound blaster in the top one (capicitors pointing down toward GPU) causes much more noise than the bottom one (capacitors away).

Edit: PC specs

If anyone has any other ideas, I might try to return the soundblaster and try usb 5.1 if no one else has any solutions

I have no expert solution.
At first I was thinking it might be coil whine, but I'm not sure because that comes right off of the GPU components.
It might be some similar sort of feedback.

Someone smarter than me will need to know your PC specifications in order to help.
Motherboard, GPU, PSU may all be affecting it, but he more info the better.
