Graphics card to max out Ryzen 1600 @ 3.6

I currently have a ryzen 1600 @ 3.6 And A Reference Rx 480 4gb Edition and I feel as if it is just holding me back. This is my Current build : https://pcpartpicker.com/list/ZzP6cc. I did not put the Rx 480 Reference or my case, but you get what my build looks like. I'm Looking for a new Graphics card that will max out my 1600, Even a %5 Or less Bottleneck GPU would be fine. My price limit is around $400. Thanks in advance!

at 1080p 60hz you are already at max gpu, good pairing

if you upgrade to a 1440p 60hz monitor then you can upgrade to a gtx 1070

1080 144hz+, not a good idea ryzen is not good for high refresh rate gaming most newer games will no reach beyond 90 - 100 fps freesync monitor is a must for the 480, you will need to lower settings

1440p 60hz ( with a gtx 1070 ) sweet spot, highly recommended

for 1440p 144hz you want a 1080TI, your cpu would not be able to keep up - mostly in the 90 - 100 fps range on most newer titles
g-sync monitor is a must) you will need to lower cpu intense settings

there are exceptions like CSGO, and overwatch where you would have no issues gaining a steady 144 fps+

then there are games like PUBG that will struggle to even reach ~60 fps

ok, I guess I will go with the 1070, but to achieve 144 + Hz on 1080p What ryzen cpu will I have to upgrade to?

there are none that are capable of it right now with most games, maybe with ryzen 2

for gaming none of the other ryzen cpu's are any better than a overclocked 1600

ryzen is a good ~60hz cpu

there are games like overwatch where this is not an issue

but in most newer games you will probably be at the 60 - 90 fps range maybe hitting ~100 fps sometimes

the high refresh arena is basically intel exclusive right now

I have a ryzen 1600 overclocked to 3.9GHz paired with a 1070ti And I run a 144hz 1080p pannel and most games will run above 100 fps+ on ultra
