Monitor Flashing Black for a few seconds while gaming

Whenever I get on my pc to play games, sometimes while I am playing my monitor will flash to black for a few seconds, but the sound will keep playing. I really need help since i am on a competitive csgo team so I can't afford for my monitor to go black.

Monitor:
Alienware 25 Gaming Monitor: AW2518HF (Freesync Version)


GPU:
RX 580 8gb

CPU:
Ryzen 7 1700x

By the way, I ordered a display port today to see if it would change anything. Anyways I wanted one for the 240 hertz on my monitor. Might fix the problem, but I don't know.

1. Ensure all drivers are updated.
2. Try setting your graphics card and pc to performance mode if not already.
3. Try monitor on another computer and see if it still happens (if it does its a monitor issue).

Also, what PSU do you have?

The PSU I have is not in the description of the pc I got, but here is the PC.

Inspiron 5675
But I did order a display port so It might work better this time since I was originally using a hdmi.
