That's a great card! I had the same one. You have no need to upgrade at this time.

I hate the word 'bottleneck'. It's not a word that should be said about computers. The proper term is 'imbalanced'.
If you want a GTX 1080Ti to pair with your i7 880, Go For it!
It will work even better when you upgrade the rest of your PC to catch up to it.
No. If you do upgrade, go for a 1060 6GB maximum. Anything beyond will be heavily bottlenecked by that i7 880. Not too mention that your resolution is 1330 x 768, so that further increases the bottleneck as less stress on the GPU. Beyond this, go for a new PC.

Thank you all for your reply and i am glad to hear this from you but my screen will bottleneck my performance i didnt understand this point how my screen can make my performance worst by not using all my gpu i mean if my screen resolution is less the performance and fps should be higher or you mean by bottleneck that it will not use all my gpu power but i don't plan to upgrade my screen because it is working fine and i dont need more resolution because i can link my pc to my tv monitor that is full hd 1080p if i want to play in 1080p resolution. So is that good?

Full HD 1080P is a good upgrade. If you feel, however, that you are good with your current resolution it is not a bad idea to stick with it. However, TV's usually have a high response time, so if you are playing FPS games, it would not be a perfect solution. By bottleneck, I meant it would not use all of your GPU's power.

If you feel the GTX 970 is serving you well right now, stick with it. However, if you want a full potential of your GPU if you upgrade, it would be a viable part to upgrade.

Your screen isnt bottlenecking your performance, its just that you are running such a low resolution what would be the point of using a more powerful gpu?

A GTX 970 is still a powerful GPU.
I only upgraded because I needed more memory after I upgraded my monitor to 1440p.
In the future you may find that is the reason you may want to upgrade.

Just Cause 3 is my favorite game of all time and I bought my 970 to run it. It's hard to run and has a bug that eats video RAM and doesn't let go when it's done. Once I got the new screen it started crashing all the time.
$60 game plus a 970 and a 1070 = The Most Expensive Game in The World.
