Hello guys, so I was thinking of buying a laptop that would be capable to run games too but then a thought came up in my mind, if this laptop would be better or at least very comparable than my current, few years old (about 4 or 5 I guess) pc, I could sell it and use only the laptop. However I have no idea as regards laptop hardware and neither amd ones. So if somebody would be as kind to help me compare the two, I would be really grateful.

My current pc:
- CPU: Intel Core i5-4670k; 3.4GHz; 4 Cores
- GPU: Gygabyte Nvidia GTX760; 4GB
- RAM: 16GB
(I think that is all that matters? If not just tell me I can add the info)

The laptop I want:
- CPU: AMD A12-9730P; 2,80 - 3,50 GHz; 4 Cores
- GPU: AMD Radeon RX 560; 4GB
- Ram: 8GB

Another, slightly more expensive but still willing to consider:
- CPU: Intel Core i5-7300HQ; 2,50 - 3,50 GHz; 4 Cores
- GPU: nVidia GeForce GTX 1050; 4GB
- RAM: 8GB

Well thats about it, thanks for reading and hope that someone will be kind enough to tell me if either of them is worse and how much too.

Solution
Dont bother with the AMD setup. Its way too old and obsolete. The i5 on the other hand is last gen. and comparatively better. Almost on par with your desktop, although when overclocked, the 4670k would be faster.
I would rather get the i5 laptop.

I see, by almost on par with desktop, lets take witcher 3 for example (or any other game) would you happen to have any estimate of the size of fps loss? (just a rough one is great, better than nothing)

Well that's the thing, I am currently in fixed location but in the near future I might be moving between two places constantly and I would either need another at least as good desktop there or laptop to carry it between here and there, While both are quite good options, the thing is that the laptop might end up being cheaper if I sell my current pc and only use laptop from now on
