- Ryzen 1600
- 8gb RAM
- MSI B350 Gaming plus

* all 1050ti aree 75w
* all PCIe slot provide 75w maximum

1- is it safe to overclock a 1050ti ( with no 6pin power ) to its limit 1900-1950 Mhz ?
2- isnt that dangerous to draw max power from the PCIe all time for years ?
3- does 6-power do better job?
4- do all GPUs 1050ti, 1060, 1070ti, 1080ti get always 75w from PCIe slot and the rest from the PSU ?

have anyone Overclocked Asus Strix ( not 04Gaming ) or Asus Expedition to 1900Mhz ?

Not all GTX1050ti need only 75w.
Here is an example that needs a 6 pin aux power lead:

1. Define safe. I would not bother. Card vendors have binned the chips, and used the best ones in cards that can be more highly overclocked.
OTOH, you could get lucky.
2. No, that is what the slot is designed for.
3. 6 pin power is needed when the card requires more than the 75w that the slot can provide.75w is the maximum design power limit of the pcie x16 slot.
In most cases, the card will draw less.
4. If a card needs more than 75w, it will have added requirements for 6 or 8 pin aux power.

so no need to spend more for 6pin 1050ti, just buy one with no 6-pin and it will perform the same at 1900Mhz ?
this question is in my head for over a month and can't get a serious answer, am scarred to lose my Motherboard if i OC a non 6pin 1050ti for years.
