Mic not working

My mic on my HyperX Cloud Revolver S didnt work when i returned to my pc after getting some food. But the sound in the headset is fine, ive tested different USB ports and on another PC. Any suggestions?

Check your recording tab in the sounds setting, Make sure the mic you want is selected as the default

What are you using the MIC on? and also is it USB wired?

Yes it USB wired, I use the mic mostly on Discord but also skype (the mic if selected as the one the program use)

Just some basic trouble shooting, restart the PC and try different USB ports, try them all. And if the headset comes with a controller, use that. New headsets have come out with controller boxes. Non controller box is usually xbox or PS. With the box it can be PC compatible
