Hello, I recently bought a GTX 1060 6GB for a pretty good price, and it should be here this week. However, my current build is pretty dated which follows;
AMD FX-8320 @ 3.5Ghz
GTX 760 2GB
Asrock 990FX Extreme3
8GB Ram
Seasonic S12 Bronze 620W Power Supply
Corsair h55 (have an extra Cryorig H7 that I'll probably change out)
500GB HDD
Rosewill Galaxy-02 Case (have a Cooler Master HAF 912 on the way)
Obviously my CPU is very outdated and will probably bottleneck the 1060.
However, my friend is going to let me borrow his i5 2500 (can be overclocked) and motherboard until I can afford my Ryzen build. Now, between this intel security thing going on and not sure how it stacks with the 8320 (assuming a lot better), should I use the i5 or just use my 8320? I'm ONLY looking to game at 1080p/60fps, I do not care to go any higher.
The Ryzen question has been answered!
