Hi all, I just replaced my cheapo Logitech gaming 5.1 surround system in a box with a proper a/v receiver (Yamaha RX-V483) and proper 5.1 speakers... I'm all grown up....
But... It's day one with the new receiver and I am bummed that I don't have a couple features that my cheapo Logitech htib had. Maybe someone can cheer me up:
(1) How do I do "Stereo x 2" mode? On my Logitech speakers this would make normal 2 channel stereo, but then mirror it out the rear speakers. I see all kinds of settings here like "Concert Hall" and "Sci-Fi" but how do I do Stereo x 2 ?
(2) How do I quickly adjust the volume of the center and the rear speakers? On my Logitech's remote I had a separate little volume controls for "Center" and "Surround". Does the Yamaha 483 not have a similar feature? Is the only way to go into the settings and play with the "distance" of each speaker?
If anyone has any suggestions they would be welcomed, thanks in advance.
