Asus ROG STRIX B350-F gaming ram compatibility

I am trying to find out if the ram I have is compatible with the Asus ROG STRIX B350-F gaming motherboard. The ram is BLS2K8G4D240FSB. Is this ram compatible with the motherboard?

This will be paired with ryzen 7-1700

I have the Asus Strix B350-F with a Ryzen 5 1600X and I got a deal with those from Newegg that included the GSkill TridentZ RGB 3000 mHz. About $500 total. The RAM came in at about $210 or $220 with a bundle discount. I updated the BIOS as soon as I started the computer the first time to the newest. Afterwards I downloaded the most recent AMD chipset drivers (before antivirus, etc) and then set the memory to the DOCP profile in BIOS to 3000mHz and it's run amazing. Fast and no issues! BTW this RAM is not on the tested/approved list.

the easiest way to find out is to check if the RAM is in the QVL or not
if its in the QVL, then its compatible (if its in the QVL but error exists, then something is in fault)
but still, not all the RAM is written in the QVL (you can just try jam all the stick in and find out, I usually checks on the QVL but never care about the outcome)

I believe I found a match but this is a pair of 8gb sticks and the one listed in the QVL is for only one 8gb stick. Which I believe the numbers do not match perfectly. Is part of the part number I listed a break down of how many gb and the number of sticks?

What version of BIOS did you download? my motherboard bought it 3 days ago and its factory version is this year to be exact (January 11, 2018, v.3803), my CPU is a Ryzen 1700 and 16 GB of memory at corsair LPX VENGANCE 2400mhz, but I can not overclock them to 2666 when I do it reboots, you have some tutorial that you can recommend me or how to use the BIOS (or its interface) of ASUS B350-F Strix GAMING.
