do all the free OS migration clone software not create bootable SSD?
i tried several free ones and each one works but none will boot, and i always checked the bios and it is in the correct order

Solution
Depending on which M.S drive you have, you may need to install the NVME driver into the Windows7 running on the HDD first and then clone to the m.2 drive. Win7 needs the driver to run an NVME M.2 drive.
