Just purchased these https://pcpartpicker.com/list/3dRZnn, but my case only has enough room to support a single 120mm radiator.

What are some of the best single 120mm fan/radiator Liquid Coolers I can buy?

List a few options if you can. Thanks!

the mbtf is around 50k hours(unofficial) so 5 years, the pump wont be the first thing to go, it will be leaking "usually".
However the amount of forum users ive seen in 2 years with a liquid cooler that started leaking is below 10.

Cant hurt to replace now I start to think about it. but I can assure you that the safety features on the motherboard WILL prevent your cpu from overheating. These safety features are thoroughly tested in the factory.

I'm not sure what case it is as it is over 4 years old and I cant find any model number on it, some Corsair mid-tower for about 100 bucks if I remember correctly but that really doesnt tell you what case it is, but I measured what I'm using atm and it is 120mm h100i with not much more room, dont think I can fit another 20mm there. I may be able to fit a single 140mm on the top of the case or even a double 140 but I'm not sure as the room I would need for the radiator to the MB may not fit.

Though, I am going to buy a new case soon, but I want to buy a new cooler now as the last thing I need is if this h100i's pump goes and the 5% chance that the 8700k failsafe doesnt work I don't wanna fry my CPU or MB. So, I'm gonna either buy a single 120mm replacement cooler right now, or I'm going to buy a full tower case that could easily fit a double 140mm, along with the double 140mm cooler.

So, if you could list maybe list a few of the best single 120mm liquid coolers, or a couple double 140mm as well if you can.

The problem is that I'm afraid the pump will go and that I fry my brand new 8700k / MB if the low chance that the failsafe doesn't save it.

Give me like 15min I'll get a few pics.

its a corsair 200r

http://www.corsair.com/en-us/carbide-series-200r-compact-atx-case

This is my advise, keep the cooler and replace the loud fan by a noctua fan(nf-f12 pwm ), its probabaly an h55 cooler : http://www.corsair.com/en-us/cooling

If you really want to replace it I recommand you a good air cooler like : PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU Cooler: CRYORIG - H5 Universal 65.0 CFM CPU Cooler ($46.89 @ OutletPC)
Total: $46.89
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

More quiet, even better temps than the cooler you have now and super easy to install.

last I really dont recommand you to buy a new 120mm cooler(but to answer your question the h90 from corsair is ok).

h115i is really good or nzxt kraken cryorig ultimate a40 is really cool if you have got the money.

Alright, thanks for the help. Last question: My main reason for wanting to replace the cooler is my fear that it could potentially fry my new 8700k should the pump go. The h100i is around 4.5 years old and I was told that that's around the time the pump starts to go. What are the chances of this happening, and what are the chances that it would fry my 8700k if it does go? Am I worrying for nothing because of the CPU failsafe?
