Hi all so im at a cross road and dont know whether to upgrade my gpu from the msi gtx 960 to the msi gtx 1070 gamimg 8g or whether to upgrade my cpu from the intel i5 6500 to the intel i7 7700k can someone hwlp me please

Solution
definitely msi gtx 960 to the msi gtx 1070... but ur CPU is not enough for ultra gaming for example Assassins creed origin recommended CPU is i7.

as i'm running this game with i7 4790k stock speed and GTX 1070 full HD + Ultra setting 70FPS or 60 all the time and CPU usage is 100% all the time.

my suggestion is upgrade the GPU first and then go for the CPU later on because upgrading CPU

Admirable
The i5 6500 is still a fine CPU, no need to change that. The jump would be good, but not enough to boost your FPS a lot tbh...

Now a jump from a 960 to a 1070, that's the real deal... Definitely go with it. It's a very nice upgrade.

So, get the GTX 1070
