Specs:
Ryzen 1600
ASUS ROG Strix B350-F
16Gb Corsair Vengeance LPX 3000MHz

To start of this memory is validated for 3000Mhz on this board, that is why I got this combo as it was a great deal and pretty much the only available combination and mobo and memory to be validated.

I put the D.O.C.P oc on the memory right when I built the pc. Some time after I finally got my mounting bracket for my cryorig H7 so I swapped the cooler out like any regular day. It was probably some coincidence but ever since that the DOCP oc has not been stable.

What happens is that I can enable it and start the computer like always and it's stable in games and everything. Though next time I restart the computer it will cycle a few times not booting and then giving me the message that the overclock has failed. Rinse and repeat. I've updated the BIOS.

I have heard that it may help putting just a slight oc on the cpu, may that be the case?
The reason for not overclocking my 1600 from the beginning is that my electricity bill is quite high and my computer is running pretty much constantly and I have all the performance that I need right now (and also stability is the most important factor for me).

Any help or tips is much appreciated.
