Motherboard : Gigabyte Z97

So I am installing my SSD for the first time and while adjusting some stuff (boot sequence...etc) I saw fast boot option.

Should I leave it disabled or change to either enabled - ultra fast

Note : I disabled widows 10 fast boot cuz I didn't like to leave my PC on hibernation

Yes you can turn it on. It basically just skips the 5 sec pause at the start of a PC boot so you can select options on the splash screen.

However, I've seen times where that option caused BSOD on Gigabyte boards (older models). So just keep that in mind if you turn it on. If issue happen you can just go back into BIOS and turn it back off.

I used that option on a 970 asrock board that I still have in my good old spud computer and I had to trun it off because it booted so fast I could not get into the bios. I use the extra 5 seconds on the splash screen to consider the mysteries of the universe....or stare slack jawed at the screen. Either way I get the same answer.
