Hi, all,

First....altogether now, say "Happy Birthday, Larry!".......Thank you kindly folks!

So, I pulled the trigger today and resigned all but a couple consulting gigs. (I am 78 for all you nosy people, out there!)

So now I want to free up some of my desk space to play! I have been operating with large cases for too many years to count and the time to downsize is NOW!

I will be doing some limited Autocad design, using MS Office, and playing 1080 resolution games....hopefully at ultra levels!

In digging through my parts stash, I think I have found the Haswell parts to make what will probably be the last build I ever make.

I am planning the following:

MB: GA-Z97N-WIFI
CPU: I5-4690
GPU: EVGA 1060 (single fan version)
RAM: 16GB to suit
Cooling: Probably Swifttech AIO using (depending on case) a 200mm Phobya radiator.)

Which brings us to PSU: What do you all recommend to me for wattage on this overclocked system? I will choose a supply from the Tom's approved list....but how many watts?

And now to case selection. I am considering a Thermaltake Core V1...it really only has one advantage...but a big one. it uses a 200 mm fan as its front intake...which means using my Phobya radiator is a piece of cake....on the other hand cable management looks nasty!

I am also considering a Fractal Design 500....I can mod to fit a 200 mm fan/radiator work...but it is generally a pretty big box!

Lastly I am considering a water cooled build in a Fractal 202....smallest footprint....generally an impressive packaging presentation...but very tight!

What would you all suggest?

Please advise,
and Thanks in Advance

Larry
