So I bought a used hard drive from an online marketplace in my country and I came upon a Toshiba 1TB hard drive. When I tested it, it wasn't working. The bios didn't detect it but the disk management detected it but every time I initialised the hared drive it gives me an error saying the disk is not convertible because of the size. So I checked diskpart and it says 0mb used and 0mb free. I tried using the command 'clean' and that also didn't work. I also tried making a primary partition and it said VBS fails to write. The hard drive is also making clicking noise. I think theres something wrong with the acutator, I contacted Toshiba for an RMA request and I'm still waiting for them to reply.

It's an online marketplace where people sell unwanted stuff. I already contacted the guy who was selling it, just waiting for his reply.

I'm only using it as a temporary hard drive because I'm gonna be upgrading to Crucial 275GB SSD and WD Black 2TB

Dead is dead, no matter what you were planning to use it for.
