So about a year ago I just needed a pc on the cheap so I magically scraped together this for around 250$:PCPARTPICKER
Now I've come across 300$ and suddenly upgrading has gotten a lot scarier.
Occasionally I'm video editing or CAD modeling, but mostly i play old-ish games (2010->) and sometimes a new AAA title. I'm not going to go out and buy new monitors every year but i like my games to run pretty and smooth, so i expect to be one or two tiers lower than top tier monitors on the market at any given time(currently using 720p and 1080p monitors).
Should I work my money magic and go for a higher end graphics card? or a higher end cpu? or change cpu platform? or change gpu platform? or should I invest in aio watercooling, higher end mobo, ram, etc. and wait to upgrade the 'big stuff'?
WHAT I DO??
Side note: 110% of the time I'm paranoid that my mobo socket is going to be phased out or that AMD is actually better suited to my computer use case.
