what motherboard is it?
If it has 4 ram slots, did you put two ram sticks in 1 and 3 or 2 and 4?
Can you boot with both sticks, 1 stick at a time? If so and you tried above 2 ram setting, but no boot, return it and get a replacement.

MERGED QUESTION Question from debbaudt.ruben : "2 sticks of memory doesn't boot"
debbaudt.ruben :
Hello
I bought a kit of 2x 4GB ram and i can only boot with one stick in my slots..
Any help?
Thanks

Please post your full system spec.
Have you tried each stick in each slot? Could be a defective module, or could be a problem with the slot.
If the slot, it may be tied to the CPU - do you have any bent pins in the CPU socket?
I have tried an verified the 2 ram sticks work both on the 2 slots of my B350M Gaming pro. I can still only boot with one.
I think i inserted the ram sticks properly, but will try again..
Are you also using two ram sticks?
I can have the system running only one but not with two.. I have used different bios updates..
Yes, two sticks. Keep the most recent BIOS. If each one can boot but not both, RMA the ram due to they could be different timing, even the diff is very small. What model is the ram?
