Good Evening,

I was wondering whether you could help me with a quick enquiry. I have had a look through on here and cant seen to find the answer i need.

I currently have a virgin superhub3 running my network (Powerline cables and wifi) and everything works fine.

I have just purchased a VPN router which i plan to use.

I have looked on here and see that the advice is tto set it up as on a different IP range than the original router.192.168.0.1 and 192.168.1.1 for example.

My question is, could i turn off the DCHP on the second router and have it as 192.168.0.2.

Then, for the devices i wish to run through the VPN, i could change the gateway from ***.0.1 to ***0.2.

I hope that makes sense.

Thanks

Matt

If you are thinking of connecting them LAN to LAN then yes, but your Vpn won't work as you aren't using the WAN port. If you connect WAN on vpn router to LAN on first router you will have issues with double Nat. Does your first router have a Vpn pass through feature?
