Hi all. Strange noise coming from my GPU Fans. I recorded - http:// . Listen to it. What do you guys think it is?

GPU: Zotac GeForce GTX 1050ti 4GB OC Edition
Any solutions ?
Thx.

Well dust can cause a balance issue and a wobble which can lead to more vibration and it doesn't have to be a lot just a buildup in an area. Sometimes the card can just be a little loose (not fully slotted or not screwed in) and vibration will cause odd sounds.

The motors usually make a different sound when going bad (but even then they can last years but will be noisy). It is possible they are making the sound you indicate but I have never heard that particular sound from a bad fan but I cannot rule it out.

My thoughts on hearing that would be to think that either it was impacting a cable or something or that it had dust buildup on one of the fins. I am sure this is not the situation (as I assume you blew out the fans?) but from the sound that is what I would think. I haven't heard that particular noise from bad bearings/bushings but I suppose it could be that too.

Well, i've checked the gpu fans with a mirror before turning it to see closly. I didn't saw any cable hitting the fan. Then i turned it and didn't saw anything too. But when i put it back in his normal position the noise stopped until now . Like 1 hour without it and still haven't come yet. Whut ?? Could it be something in the little motors of the fans ?
I don't believe dust can do such this noise, because it only has 2 months the GPU.

Thanks
