Hello, I'm not so good at math so I could use some help here, I understand that the pagefile size should be 1.5 times your memory. If I have 64 gigs of memory and a 2 terabyte solid state drive what would be an ideal page file size?

Solution

If you have 64GB RAM, you can set your pagefile to 1GB min/max.

The pagefile is only used when you run out of physical RAM. Given 64GB RAM, that is unlikely to happen.

But, given a 2TB SSD, maybe just leave it as whatever Windows thinks it should be.
You won't notice the used space.

Okay, thanks for the prompt answer. I had a feeling I should just leave it at what Windows sets it at.
