Hello. I recently upgraded my gigabyte ga p31 to gigabyte p43 es3g because I had 4gb of unused ram. I have Intel core 2 quad q9550, gtx 950 which was upgraded one hour ago from gtx 650 ti. And my pc keeps turning off while it works. I don't know what to do. I tried cleaning the ram slots, removing some rams, pairing them again, restarting cmos but it didn't work. I think the problem is ram. When I put the ram which I got with the motherboard pc worked 10 minutes more compared to the apacer 2gbx4 667mhz. Is there any solution for this? I know I have old pc but can I fix it somehow without using my ga p31 again? Thanks in advance!
P.S. my psu is chieftek 600w bronze 80

Solution
I'd suspect there's an issue with the motherboard, particularly if it powers off even when the system is idle. If the new RAM was the issue, then the PC would run fine with the old RAM. Check for a loose heatsink cooler, bulged caps, etc.
