"Ethernet Identifying", "No Connection", "Ethernet Cable Unplugged", Unidentified Network" "No Network Access"

My Ethernet connection to this computer has displayed all of these suggestions and none of them seem to work. I've probably gone through over 20 suggestions online and about another 20 Tutorials online on how to fix it. I had gotten to a point where I even took my computer back and exchanged it for a new computer that was the exact same. I'm at a loss of what's causing the issue and the issue would even show up on 2 different computers besides this one in my house however, those were fixed through settings. If there's something I need to do at settings, I have no idea what's left to try. This is all making me wonder if I just need to exchange it again but try and get a different computer from a different brand.

I may have been able to solve the issue. I contacted Intel and someone helped me through and the solution for now ending up being to update the Network Driver. Of course I had already done this but it's possible that I was installing the wrong ones before?? Either way, this seemed to help my issue. The guy ended up telling me that sometimes, WIndows Update throws of the Drivers so I figured that maybe since it works now, it would be a good idea to disable Windows Updates entirely so nothing else occurs. you cannot disdable windowsd updates completelyt since security updates are critical especially now.

however, you can omit driver updates:

Okay so will those security updates still go through or will i have to re enable updates
 


no, that will only stop windows from updating drivers. it will still check and install security updates
