I bought an Alienware laptop with a i7-6700hg cpu, gtx 970m gpu and 32 gb ram. I got a free Graphics Amplifier with it. (box to add desktop gpu) I recently started playing Nioh and it really dragged gameplay. With all settings as low as possible it just barely plays the game. My cpu is above min req. and below recommended. Question: would it help my game play much to buy a GTX 1060 or equivalent video for my Amplifier and plug it into my laptop? From what research I have been able to find if I get much better card than that my cpu would become the bottle neck. thanx in advance for any insights here.
