Hi All,
I have an Asus ROG Crosshair VI Hero which will be going into an older Antec DF-85 full tower case. My question is:
Should I use the existing case's fans (they are all wired to a switch in the back of the case) or should I simply use the MOBO's Power management to operate newer Noctua fans?
The case's switches in the back simply have a High/Low setting and must be set manually.
Thanks for any tips/advice

Solution
It really is up to you, but at lower loads the system will be quieter if you connect new Noctua fans to the motherboard. If more airflow at higher loads is required, you won't have to reach the back of the case to increase the fans speed; the motherboard will do it for you.
