Keyboard wont turn off when i put computer to sleep

So up until last week whenever I put my Alienware Aurora desktop to sleep mode, the back lit keyboard would shut off too, and power on again when the computer was awoken. Now, when the computer is put to sleep the keyboard stays lighted, and I have to physically unplug the USB from the computer to the keyboard to make it shut off because its impossible to sleep with the whole room lit up from your keyboard. In not sure on what could be causing this all of a sudden. The keyboard does shut off when the computer is turned completely off, but I'd rather not have to do that every time I leave my computer. Any ideas on why it just started doing this now? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

There is an option in the BIOS for this. It keeps power to the USB ports while powered off for charging phones and stuff. Look for something in there and it should turn the keyboard lights off.
