Hi guys.So i have been using the Corsair h55 watercooler for 3 years rn,so i decided to change the thermal paste on it. While removing the h55, one screw wouldnt come out,so i forced it a little,with no sucess. I found out it was a problem on the backplate,one pin was loose,so the screw wouldnt come out.After searching, i used plier to hold the backplate in place to remove the screw.With the help of my sister,i did it.
I had to buy a new watercooler since this one was broke,so i bought the same model (corsair h55). I replaced everything,turned on my pc and heard the usual beep, but after a couple of seconds it turned off. I noticed that the cpu led on the motherboard turns red twice,and on the second time the pc shuts off :(
The problem is that while trying to pull the watercooler off,i scratched the motherboard, as u can see here -https://imgur.com/a/ABzcl
My setup is : Sabertooth 990 FX, AMD 8150 FX and GTX 780
No,there is no bent pins at the processor
I can´t afford another motherboard rn :(
Is my motherboard trash or is there anything i could try
Thanks for the help guys

Solution
Assuming you have the headers from the water cooler plugged in so it detects a cooling device correctly;

the damage directly around the screw holes don't matter because that's a ground plane anyhow, but I see actual damage to several traces on the board surface on that left hand side down towards that heat sink.

Unless you're super good with a micro soldering station and wire the size of a human hair, I'd go shopping for another motherboard.

Sorry for your trouble, I hope the CPU is OK.
