RAM Usage too high on idle

For the past two days I have been noticing that my PC has become slower just in the span of 2 days. When I played PUBG I used to get over 80 for at ultra 1440p. Now when I tried to play I couldn't even move, textures weren't loading and the stutter made the game more unplayable than on a core 2 duo with no graphics card. I decided to boot the PC again and check task manager, I noticed the ram usage was very high, normally I got between 25% and 35% but it was fluxuating bewteen 79% and 88%. I tried running many programs that people recommended on the internet but I can't resolve anything. Here's some info that may be helpful.

CPU: Intel Core i7 6700k
RAM: 16gb
GPU: Asus GTX 1080 turbo
HDD: 1TB- 133gb free
2TB - 1.45TB free

- Go into resource monitor, go to memory, sort by private set with the largest number at the top, and post a screenshot of the processes listed. This will help us see in detail the most consuming processes and if what is there makes sense.

- Start the PC in safe mode and start scanning for malware. This is something we want to do if you aren't seeing enough processes to take up over 80% of your RAM. One thing malware can do is hide it's processes from task manager and the Windows OS in general and result in high system resource usage with no processes visable to explain it. If you do not know how to access safe mode, we can provide instructions. Malware scans in normal Windows mode are not as effective. Malwarebytes is a good option.
