GPU turning off after 25 seconds

So I got my GPU today, and I guess I placed it correctly because the LED turns on, but I realized that it turns off after about 25 seconds. But everything else keeps running. It’s an MSI 1050

I read that it could be defective because they described it just like mine. Any help? Everything is greatly appreciated, thank you!

You say "Turning Off" do you mean the fan is turning off or do you loose the video signal ?
If its the fan then this is normal for modern cards, it will only turn on when the card reaches a certain temperature !

Its normal.
If you run a game or gpu benchmark program you will see that the fans will spin up again
Try furmark it will run your gpu at 100%
