I Have an i3 4170 Cpu and until recently i was using stock cooling and my temperatures would hit 80 degress (Celsius) under load (Crysis 3, Skyrim SE, Dragons Dogma ect.) and i even went as far as to borrow a friends intel cooler that he wasnt using and still the same thing. The thermal compound was applied correctly and the cooler was seated properly on the board aswell. Two days ago i got my Cooler Master TX3 evo and after running this for a while my Temps would never exceed 58c. Are Haswell chips always this hot? because if thats the case then no gamer should use a Haswell CPU under stock cooling seeing that these temperatures are very unhealthy, and i forgot to mention my ambient room temp is around 25c.
