I am looking for a good motherboard for my i5 8600k that gives the most bang for my buck for up to $270 AU ($212 US). Simple question there but I simply can't decide. I have been looking at the Asrock Extreme4 or even the Gaming K6 for similar prices, but of course I just need a recommendation. I am not too fussed about overclocking but its good to have a decent option.

Thanks.

hey mate I'm currently building a pc for myself and about to start building it tomorrow, I've purchased the asrock z370 extreme 4 because its the one I've seen with the best reviews with sayings like best bang for your buck etc, i did look at the asus rog which looked really nice and eye catching (i think it was that one from what i remember, was red) and it had mixed reviews so i think the extreme4 would be your best bet, I'm a first time builder so have a look but I've had someone with a lot of credit(scores for each category) say its a decent mother board to go with, still have a look around at ask some people cause there may be some better ones since I'm pretty amateur atm (done alot of research though) but thats the one i decided...
