Hello i run a setup with a modem from my internet provider and an old router i have bought myself.
The network is a home network with 2 computers connected to it through wire and 1 wirelessly.
There were always problems with the internet dropping out randomly or loading pages only halfway and stopping to respond but lately it started to be worse and i decided to upgrade,the problem is i have no idea how those 2 correlate to each other.
Do i have to use the modem provided by my internet provider or can i upgrade it myself?
is there any need to do so or i will be fine upgrading just the router?
can i upgrade to a completely wireless router if currently im running a wired connection with a wired modem?
what about modem/router in one combos?
