Hello! I built a new PC around a month ago. The specs for it are as the following:
Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 1700 Eight-Core Processor
Memory: 8192MB RAM (8x1) (GSKILL Ripjaw series)
Video Card name: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 (EVGA FTW)
Motherboard :MSI Tomahawk B350
PSU: Zalman ZM600-LE 600W total
Operating system: Windows 10 Home
Storage: 240GB OCZ TL100 series SSD, 1TB Carvier Blue SATA 7200rpm
The problem is that it is underperforming when it comes to gaming. I play demanding games like The Witcher 3 and I'm getting very disappointing FPS in crowded places like in Novigrad. The problem is present with everysingle demanding game ı play. Witcher 3 is just an example. I checked games using MSI Afterburner ingame OSD, and it seems like there is no heating problem. One thing I noticed is that my GPU is always sitting around %50-%60 usage( even in most demanding scenes in game) and MOST of the time even less. My CPU seems to be able to go upto %80-90 usage depending on what's going on at the screen. I have checked power options on the control panel of PC and Nvidia Control Panel and they are both set to high performance. ALSO one weird thing to note that, when it comes to benchmark software, my GPU usage goes as high as %96-97 usage and I can get OK resutls from the benchmark tests I run. I have no idea my GPU goes full power during benchmark tests and becomes lazy during actual games. This is really frustrating not knowing what's wrong with my PC.
