Help! Unable to access internet after changing MAC Address!

Hi,

So my parents have set up BT Access Control, and it turns my internet off at a specific time, i'm working currently so I get home late in the evenings and don't have a lot of time to play as before the restriction i'd stay up till 12-2am or so.

I recently tried to change my MAC Address and after changing it I found that I couldn't get any internet, I've tried a few of the popular MAC Address changing programs and sadly none of them let me have internet access after, my connection is wired and my provider is BT.

Can anyone help out?

The router is looking for specific MAC addresses. Like what yours was originally. Anything else, it blocks.

We're not going to help you get around your parental restrictions.

If you're old enough to have an evening job, you're old enough to talk to your parents and figure something out.
This is a social issue, not a technical issue.

Sounds like a parent that is smarter than the kid for a change. They obviously know the change the mac address trick and designed the security setting assuming you would try that. A good security professional always knows as much or more than the hackers.

If your problem is you just want to make it work like before leave the mac address field blank and it will use the physical mac address.
