Ok so i have a question. Im building a new pc and all the parts came in but my cpu. Soo i put everything together but the cpu(hense i dont have it). Is it bad to have my motherboard ryzen cpu slot open to the air for a couple weeks? Or should i take everything apart and put the motherboard back into its antistatic bag until the cpu gets here ??

Solution
it doesn't really matter, just hide the board in the box (inside the plastic) if you don't want to clean the slot

having dust in the slot can bring problems, so just hiding them in the case is not a choice (unless you hid the case too)
or, put each hardware back to their own boxes (inside their plastic bag) the most safe place until your CPU came
